A soldier was attacked and beheaded by two attackers just outside the army barracks of Woolwich, South London.

One of his attackers even attempted to justify his act of violence on camera, hands covered in blood, holding the implements he used to murder the soldier. The news even showed his face for about 4 or 5 times before blurring it out.

Motivation is currently sketchy. Terrorism is being chucked around because of some of the reasons the attacker gave but nothing concrete. He basically said: “We apologise that women had to see this today but in our lands our women have to see the same. You people will never be safe. Remove your government. They don’t care about you.”, and some other stuff apparently about Muslims dying. NOT TERRORISM, but that Muslims were dying. They’re already kicking it out of context. [more at the source link]

What makes it awful is the mentality of the British people. A man is dead and people are up in arms for some Old Testament justice. Do you honestly think that Old Testament justice is a legitimate option when this man was murdered for the same reason. It’s a vicious cycle and you are no better than the killers. People seriously think this way and believe that this is a solution. It’s just perpetuating.

So watch the media turn this into a circus, watch them give voice to mad rants/madder theories, and scaremonger the public. Watch the retaliation that will no doubt come. Watch this NOT be about a man who died, brutally, and alone because they’ve already made him a symbol..
